# DeepQDigital > DeepQDigital is an AI-native capital markets lab. Founded in 2022 by former Deutsche Bank and Bank of America electronic traders, it builds AI trading systems and runs them in its own digital asset trading business. It also works with firms that want to build their own AI-native trading platform on the same stack. Key facts: - Name: DeepQDigital (legal name Deep Q Digital Inc.; also written Deep Q Digital, Deep Q, DeepQ). - What it is: an AI-native capital markets lab. It builds AI trading systems and runs them in its own systematic, market-neutral digital asset trading business. - Founded: 2022, by FICC electronic trading veterans from Deutsche Bank and Bank of America. - Based in: Greenwich, Connecticut, United States. - Markets traded: spot, perpetual futures, prediction markets, across centralized and on-chain venues. - Leadership: Carlos Zendejas (Chief Executive Officer), Matt Reid (Chief Investment Officer), Niklas Henke (Chief Science Officer). - Also a technology partner: DeepQ helps firms design, build and run their own AI-native trading platform (https://www.deepqdigital.com/platform/). - Investors: the strategy is offered to qualified institutional investors through a private fund vehicle. DeepQDigital is the brand name for Deep Q Digital Inc. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy securities. ## The stack - [Pebble](https://www.deepqdigital.com/#system-pebble): Trading infrastructure. The foundation. Pebble connects to centralized and on-chain venues, streams their market data in, and routes orders back out. - [Prometheus](https://www.deepqdigital.com/#system-prometheus): Alpha generation. An AI model of the market, built on transformer and world-model techniques. - [Hive](https://www.deepqdigital.com/#system-hive): Reinforcement learning. Hive decides what to do. It frames each strategy as a reinforcement learning problem: the state of the market, the actions available, and the reward that follows. - [Metis](https://www.deepqdigital.com/#system-metis): Agentic workflow automation. Metis does the research work. It runs backtests, validates data, analyzes fills and tests new ideas overnight, while the team is offline. - [Ledger](https://www.deepqdigital.com/#system-ledger): Accounting and reporting. Our fund accounting system. Each day it collects balances and trades from every venue, wallet and bank, checks them against the books, and records each trade in a double-entry journal. Together they form two loops. The live loop: Runs continuously. Pebble brings in data, Prometheus predicts, Hive acts, Pebble executes, and Ledger books the result. The research loop: Runs around it. Metis studies the results and proposes improvements, which go live after human review. ## Pages - [Home](https://www.deepqdigital.com/): overview, the stack, about, team, strategy, Q&A and contact. - [Build with us](https://www.deepqdigital.com/platform/): how DeepQ helps firms build their own trading platform; capabilities, engagement steps and Q&A. - [Notes](https://www.deepqdigital.com/blog/): essays from the team. - [Market notes](https://www.deepqdigital.com/market-notes/): a market maker's view on the crypto news of the last three days, published every three days. ## Notes - [Why Trading Firms Trade at Such Low Multiples (and Why That's About to Change)](https://www.deepqdigital.com/blog/trading-multiples.md): The market discounts trading earnings on two assumptions about quality and human capital.
